Bond Money is Now Available for Jefferson Parish Home Buyers

Jefferson Parish is offering bond money to buyers. You do not have to be a 1st time homeowner. There is approximately $25 million available. 

Here is what you will receive: 

  •  a 30 year fixed mortgate rate at 5.35%,
  • 4% assistance (this will help with your closing costs, pre-paids (insurances),
  • FHA, VA and Rural Development loans qualify. 

The income limits are: Family of 2 or less $71,760; Family of 3 or more: $83,720

The federal tax credit $8000 for 1st time homebuyers and $6,500 for subsequent homebuyers may be used with this bond program. Use your tax credit to update your new home!
